Why Your Support Matters:
Even with glimmers of hope in the political and criminal situation at present, it remains unmanageable and unsafe for US missionaries to travel to Hinche. Violence, instability and the threat of kidnapping still remains. Financial outreach is our only hope to continue the commitment we have made to the clinic, the parish and the people of Hinche.
Approximately 10,000 patients visit The Whitney Clinic each year. The clinic is open daily. The staff consists of two doctors, a nurse, a pharmacy technician, and a few clinic support staff. Through your generosity, we have witnessed the birth of a vibrant medical mission program, a sustainable and full functional primary care clinic, a medical malnutrition program and a rescue program for the ultra-poor in the Hinche community.
The Church of Sacre Coeur is a fully functioning Catholic Parish administering all of the sacraments and conducting a full calendar of masses, retreats and outreach. It is the central foundation of the compound that includes the Church, the Rectory, the Clinic and the Kitchen.

Saturday, September 7th, 2024, we are planning this year’s Haiti Twinning Ministry Gala for our Sister Parish and medical clinic in Hinche Haiti. You and your guests will once again be served an elegant plated dinner at, “Joe’s Piano Bar Gala!” Bring your singing voices, your music requests and your dancing shoes. Dinner will be followed by a video update of the progress made in Hinche by your donations and the Bid for Hope. Dueling Pianos will serenade and entertain you throughout the evening. This will be an evening of entertainment and culinary treats you and your guests will remember!
It is amazing how far we have come hosting these charitable events! Even more amazing is what has been accomplished in the past 25 years at our twin parish, Sacre Coeur, in Hinche. Father Faublas Louis has created a great relationship with Father Jack and the Parish of St. Monica; one that assists us in ensuring the funds we raise are used wisely to benefit the mission programs at Sacre Coeur Parish and the Whitney Clinic. Apart from covering the cost of the Gala, one hundred percent of your donations will go directly to helping the physical and spiritual health of the Haitian people.
